
Recently, President Trump declared a public health emergency to deal with the opioid epidemic.
That crisis hits home every day right here in Connecticut where on average, two people died of a drug overdose every day in 2015; more than in car accidents or by gunshot. And the numbers have escalated since those studies were done. Those affected live in big cities, small towns, affluent suburbs and rural communities. Julian was recently interviewed by Simsbury TV about the impact of this epidemic on their community.
