Adolescents (ages 16-23) and their families

Substance Abuse and Mental Health
Intensive Outpatient Program

The Next Right Thing, LLC offers community-based substance abuse and mental health treatment for adolescents (ages 16-23) and their families.

Substance abuse and mental health problems are symptoms of a disease in an adolescent's life. Treatment in the community with families and peers is the solution.

We are located in Bishop’s Corner, West Hartford at the crossroads of North Main Street and Route 44. The Next Right Thing offers easy access to neighboring communities in Avon, Bloomfield, Farmington, Simsbury, and Canton.

The Next Right Thing is an after-school and early evening program. The program is structured to address a continuity of treatment needs – from identifying a problem; through stabilizing changes in new behaviors; to maintaining healthy behaviors for the entire family.

Continuity of Care...

We offer a “continuity of care” model from identification of a substance abuse, emotional or behavior problem through recovery. The Next Right Thing’s clinical program is structured to avoid the need for extended inpatient or residential treatment.
